Halloween is approaching. Your pets deserve treats too! Give them healthy treats. I core an apple and cut up bite size pieces for my dogs. They also love sliced up carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and tomatoes. Celebrate the holidays in style. If your dogs don't mind costumes --- dress them up too! I'm having a Halloween brunch on Halloween this year. We all plan to dress up!
Warning: For sweet treats, do NOT FEED your dogs grapes, raisins, chocolate, hazle nuts, macadamia nuts, garlic, or onions. These can have a poisonous effect on dogs.

When you're out of Chicken, use Egg Whites
Bella truly looks forward to her daily allotment of boiled chicken. Today the chicken wasn't thawed out and I needed to feed her quickly. I fried up a few egg whites and added some of her favorite vegetables (radishes, carrots and broccoli). She gobbled it up. I'll be boiling some chicken now for her dinner! I'm learning that I must continue her high protein, high vegetable diet... if she's going to get her immune system into a balanced and centered place again. It feels so tempting to run outside and grab more of her dry dog food (so convenient), but in the long run it's worth it to feed and prepare her the healthier, low fat food.

Love your Pets by Feeding them Healthy Food
My beloved dog, Bella, has battled cancer off and on in her life. As a result she gained a lot of weight. I love Bella with all my heart. She's my number one fan; always by my side. I decided to put her on a high protein and vegetable diet. I've been boiling a lot of chickens these days. Aside from loving chicken, she also loves egg whites that I cook up for her. She is a huge fan of beets, broccoli, apples, carrots, cauliflower, bananas, and much more. As a result of this new eating habit, Bella is losing weight and has a lot more energy. Check out some of Bella's favorite recipes in the link above labeled "HEALTHY PET RECIPES". Peace - Danielle
